Upcoming Events!
The Village of North Aurora is going to the dogs (and cats and all the pets!) with Dog Days of Summer taking place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 10am—12pm at North Aurora Riverfront Park (25 East State Street)!
Join us for a pet parade, fun contests with drool-worthy prizes (for the pups!), the chance to find your next furry family member as we work with local rescue groups to bring available dogs on site, our pet-themed handmade vendor market and local pet-themed booths in our sponsorship area!
Registration for contests is now OPEN and each category is limited to 10 entrants! Each pet may be submitted for 1 contest! Find all the details about Dog Days and register for the contest at the link below!

Meet adoptable cats and kittens searching for loving forever homes while learning more about our rescue, fostering opportunities, and ways to support animals in need. Our team will be onsite to answer questions and help match families with the perfect companion.
